Hopefully you are aware that our course officially begins on Wednessday, August 24th.
In addition to the syllabus, the materials page for each chapter has the due date for that Chapter.
All materials for that Chapter are due by the Chapter due date. For example, if a chapter has a lab, review, and exercise, all 3 are due by the chapter due date unless otherwise specified.
Since all chapters build on the previous chapter's materials, you must stay caught up with the material. Computer Science is not a topic you can cram the night before.
The labs can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 10 hours, depending on how willing you are to ask for help.
This course uses a lot of free tools (which I think is better than paying for one). You will have to sign up for a couple accounts; however, you can use your bmail (sign-in with google) so you do not need to remember a new account.
